FOR Cardiff and Cardiff University are pleased to announce their city centre internship scheme for the summer of 2023.
The scheme makes funding available to FOR Cardiff member businesses to host an intern from Cardiff University for a period of four to twelve weeks this summer.
Business that pay a levy to FOR Cardiff can expect at least 50% funding for each placement. Exact funding allocations will vary on a case by case basis.
Adrian Field, Executive Director of FOR Cardiff said,
“The range of careers available with FOR Cardiff members is huge and Cardiff University provides a valuable resource of educated and ambitious recent graduates right on our doorstep – -we hope that this internship scheme will help to strengthen connections between the university and local businesses and help more graduate build their careers here in Cardiff.”
The internship scheme builds on FOR Cardiff and Cardiff University’s shared commitment to the Real Living Wage scheme with all placements being paid at a minimum of £12 per hour.
