From Harry Styles and Coldplay, to university open days and graduations, the FOR Cardiff Cleansing Team have been working hard to keep Cardiff clean this summer.
Throughout June, the Cleansing Team:
- Provided 6 large additional bins for both Harry Styles and Coldplay concerts
- Jet washed areas around the Principality Stadium including Tiny Rebel and City Arms pub
- Jet washed the steps, roller shutters and outside area of St David’s Hall for their Cardiff Singer of the Year event
- Jet washed outside the Atrium building and painted over graffiti on electricity boxes ahead of University of South Wales’ open event
Graduation
Ahead of Cardiff University’s graduation week, the Cleansing Team have been busy litter picking, emptying bins, and removing flyers, stickers and graffiti from Museum Avenue, Alexandra Gardens and Cathays Park.
To ensure the city is looking its best, the team have been focusing on high footfall areas like St Mary Street. This before and after shows the difference that jet washing can make.

Outdoor Seating
With customers making use of the outdoor seating areas at Cardiff’s many restaurants and bars over the summer months, our Cleansing Team have been helping to keep these areas clean and well maintained.
The team recently jet washed Wagamama‘s outside seating area and received great feedback that the area looked “amazing” following their visit. Take a look at the transformation…

This is part of our call-out service that we offer for our member businesses. Businesses can call us to deep clean private property and remove any unwanted items or debris that have been left outside premises.
How to Request Cleansing for your Business
If you are a member business that pays an annual levy to FOR Cardiff, you can request cleansing of outside areas in Cardiff city centre by contacting us.
