FOR Cardiff is developing its ESG strategy for 2026 and beyond. This strategy will help FOR Cardiff move towards an improved city centre by making the area a cleaner, greener, safer, and happier place. We feel it is important that this strategy not only delivers for the BID area but also helps our members on their path to being environmentally and socially sustainable. ESG strategies in BID areas can look at:
- Environment: increasing recycling and reuse rates, reducing energy consumption, city greening.
- Social: improving safety, reducing crime, improving staff wellbeing.
- Governance: diversity training, staff and management training.
To help us achieve this, we warmly invite you to join us for one of two in-person workshops we are holding on Wednesday 30 April. At these events, we will be sharing some of our proposed ideas, asking you to share your thoughts, and giving you the opportunity to ask questions about the emerging strategy. The workshops will be held at Park Plaza, Greyfriars Rd, Cardiff CF10 3AL and will be conducted in English.
Attendance is by invitation only (to BID area members) and so we ask that you please RSVP by replying to this email with the name of the person from your organisation you would like to attend, and your preferred workshop.
Disabled access is available at the venue and if there are any additional requirements that would help you to attend the event then please do let us know. Refreshments will also be provided throughout the session, please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
