Dogs Trust is celebrating our new rehoming centre coming to Cardiff in 2022 with an exciting new adventure – A Dog’s Trail. The trail’s aim is to raise significant funding towards our work so that we can continue to provide our services for those who need them the most.

But we also know that it is going to be a spectacular exhibition – bringing together many communities through the creation and display of sculptures trailing through the city – a true showcase of Cardiff as a place to visit, love, live, work and play.

As communities across the world continue to deal with the effects of 2020, A Dog’s Trail is a special event that will promote health and wellbeing, bring businesses and communities together and help boost the regional economy. Together, we can make it happen.

A Dog’s Trail is a spectacular, free public art trail pawing its way across the city of Cardiff in Spring 2022. For 10 weeks the city’s streets, Cardiff bay and park spaces will become home to a series of intricately decorated Snoopy sculptures, each designed by local, regional and national artists, designers and illustrators – both well-known favourites and newly emerging talent.

Each sculpture will be sponsored by a business or individual and have its own tale to tell, many showcasing Cardiff’s wealth of artistic talent whilst celebrating the vibrance, culture and creativity that the city has to offer. This spectacular art trail will deliver significant economic, social and cultural benefits.

This event is presented by Dogs Trust in partnership with Wild in Art, leading creative producer of spectacular public at events and Peanuts, owners of Snoopy. We’ll be updating this page on regular basis.
