Galvanize: Pop-up Exhibition and Film Screening on Men’s Mental Health

Friday 14th June 2024

St Davids Centre, Cardiff: Pop-Up photo exhibition – 9am – 5.30pm

LittleManCoffee: Evening Celebration Launch & Film Screening – 6pm – late

GALVANIZE was created to highlight mental health during Men’s Health Week: 10-16 June 2024, especially in light of the significant challenges men face in Wales. Men disproportionately experience mental health issues, with suicide rates consistently higher for men than for women. Suicide rates for men in Wales have consistently exceeded those in England. Our goal is to reduce the stigma, encourage men to seek help, and lower suicide rates in Wales.

The Pop-up Exhibition
Helpu is proud to have partnered with FOR Cardiff and Photographer Suzie Larke to create a stunning photographic pop-up exhibition highlighting men’s mental health in Wales.

The exhibition will feature:

  • Mo Jannah
  • Nathan Wyburn
  • Ashton Hewitt
  • Shane Lewis Hughes
  • Men’s Shed Cymru
  • DawnStalkers
  • And more!

The pop up will be on display all day in St David’s Cardiff outside of Swarovski.

Join Us!
Doors are open all day to visitors and we would love for you to come along. Bring your family, bring your friends, and bring your colleagues. This pop-up exhibition is for everybody who has a man in their life.
