Jake Bugg at Cardiff University Student’s Union
Jake Bugg is a British folk and country singer and songwriter from Nottingham.
Starting his music career in 2011, when he was 17, he played on the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury Festival, which led to him singing to Mercury Records. He released his debut self-titled album in 2012, which reached #1 in the UK Albums Chart. He followed with his second album, ‘Shangri La’, in 2013 and a third release, ‘On My One’, in 2016. His latest album, ‘Hearts That Strain’, landed on September 1, 2017.
