Earlier this year FOR Cardiff pledged to donate £2,500 of gift cards as thank you gifts for the city’s key workers. Members of the public topped up this thank you fund and as businesses re-open we have begun to distribute those thank you cards.
If you are a key worker then you can enter the draw for gift cards by replying to our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram posts telling us where you work and where you would spend your gift card. Winners will be chosen at random and will be asked to provide proof of their key worker status before cards are distributed to them. Gift cards are valid until June 2021 so if you aren’t comfortable coming back into the city just yet you can still claim a card and spend it at a later date.
Our definition of key worker is the one issued by the UK government, which applied directly to Wales, at the beginning of lockdown. Information on government websites is often updated over time and so we suggest that you refer to this WalesOnline article for an accurate record of the original list.
Winners will be selected using a random number generator. Responses must be made directly to FOR Cardiff posts to be eligible. Your social media privacy settings must allow FOR Cardiff to view your posts for you to be included in the prize draw.
