FOR Cardiff aims to elevate Cardiff’s Christmas profile through a comprehensive paid and organic marketing campaign. By collaborating with the tourism sector and key partners, we actively promote Cardiff during the festive season, aiming to bolster its image and instil confidence in comparison to other competing capitals.
Our efforts spotlight the city’s diverse offerings, encompassing Winter Wonderland, St David’s shopping centre, and the arcades.
For Christmas 2022, we installed a light and sound installation in St John’s Gardens called the Light of Winter or Goleuni’r Gaeaf in Welsh. The free family-friendly experience was promoted by Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden and her partner Lloyd Griffiths.
