This year Cardiff Cycle City is ten years old. It seems a good time to take stock of what we have achieved for cycling in that time and, with your help, consider what our priorities should be now and into the future.
Cllr Caro Wild was one of our founder members who went on to be Cardiff’s lead councillor for transport and the driving force behind most of the new cycling infrastructure in the city. We’re delighted that Caro has agreed to speak to us about why Cardiff Cycle City was established, what we can learn from his years trying to transform the council’s transport policies and what all that means for Cardiff Cycle City’s future.
There’ll also be an update on the findings of the supporters survey we conducted earlier this year before we open to a discussion in which you can have your say on what Cardiff Cycle City’s campaigning priorities should be.
