Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (occasional evening work may be required)
Based: FOR Cardiff offices, 7 St. Andrew’s Crescent, Cardiff, CF10 3DA
Salary: £30,000 + 4% bonus linked to KPIs
Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays

Responsible to: Associate Director
Job purpose: The HR & Office Manager will ensure the smooth running of the FOR Cardiff office and core functions of the company including finance, HR, and governance support.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that HR policies and procedures, including staff development plans are kept up to date to support the effective management of the team
- Ensure all job descriptions and contracts are up to date and representative of roles and legalisation
- Support staff in their understanding of the companies HR policies and procedures as and when relevant.
- Oversee the delivery and implementation of the employee benefit and wellbeing package
- Office housekeeping including liaison with the landlord and key contractors
- Serving as the first point of contact for the company over the phone and through generic company email addresses
- Administrative tasks related to the sound management of the company including but not limited to: minute taking at relevant board and subcommittee meetings, general house-keeping tasks such as stationery supply management
- Book-keeping and financial management including budget monitoring, processing incoming invoices, raising and chasing outgoing invoices, managing bank reconciliation, and preparation of basic financial reports
- Responsibility for the office costs budget including identification of efficiencies
- Organising and administering meetings of the board of directors including venue and catering hire and management of attendance
- Working in partnership with the Cardiff Council business rates team to ensure the efficient collection and administration of the FOR Cardiff levy
Skills and attributes
Essential
- Considerable experience in an administrative role or similar environment
- Experience of HR policy and procedure implementation and management
- Experience of financial administration, preferably experience with Xero
- Computer literate and able to adapt to new software
- Good interpersonal and time management skills
- Able to handle conflicting priorities and react quickly to incoming assignments
- High standard of written English and numeracy
Desirable
- Experience of contract management
- Ability to communicate in Welsh
