ENGAGE WITH A NEW WAVE OF INTERNATIONAL RUNNERS
New international half marathon series to provide footfall opportunity for Welsh tourism and hospitality businesses.
The annual Cardiff Half Marathon, which returns for 2023 on Sunday 1st October, is attracting record interest from overseas runners.
It is now a part of the SuperHalfs series, made of up races in Lisbon, Prague, Copenhagen, Cardiff and Valencia, aimed at amateur runners and short-break tourists who are being challenged to complete the five-race circuit within 36 months.
Over 14,000 people from all around the world have started their journey so far, meaning thousands of runner tourists from all over Europe and beyond could be heading to the Welsh capital for their next short break.
As well as enjoying the half marathon experience, runners will be looking to enjoy Welsh culture, hospitality and attractions so event organisers Run 4 Wales are calling out for local businesses to make the most of this unique opportunity.
